It’s time for positive stories from UK Design Educators. These Educators not only understand the current design and creative industry but as full time educators understand the systems, mechanisms, constraints and frustrations that institutes bring, yet are confident at their ability to produce the next generation of design leaders and design innovators from the UK Art School system.
There are a number of challenges to route around but in planning this series of short articles I will look to portray positive futures in the education we provide and the roll of a University Art & Design Higher Education. This may not be what everyone sees in their own HE institutes but I hope it provides you and us the chance to comment, expand and accelerate the good practice I know we undertake even in the smallest of pockets.
