Using the scan and shop today reminded me of another thing I have blurted out before. Soon there will be no staff at Tesco stores. If we place microchips in all products we can track the location. Add a chip to your clubcard* , bung one on your house too. The moment you leave the geo fence of tesco the products charge to the clubcard within range. Your house could act as a back up to check products. There is a ton of security to be done but this could revolutionise stock management and ensure that there is less wastage etc. I expect people have already written about this.
